"my little stocking"

A couple of weeks ago Isaac started to call Hannah his "little stocking". We thought it was so sweet. When she would start to cry, he would go over and sing a little song in her ear. "shh, my little stocking it's gonna be okay. Shh, my little stocking, now big brother is here. I love my little stocking, yes! yes! yes! I love you little stocking"

So, we decided to try to put Hannah in a stocking and let Isaac hold his "little stocking". It was so fun!!!

Caedan is 19 months old

Well Caedan is such a delight, he is so sweet! He loves, loves, loves food and he really enjoys playing games. His favorite games are duck duck goose, ring around the rosie and yahtzee. He loves to dance to music and sing songs. He follows Isaac everywhere and when he is at school he will walk around the house calling for him. Caedan is starting to use a lot more words one of his favorites is elephant (although you might not be able to understand him :))

Hannah is 4 months old

Hannah is getting so big and she has improved so much! She is still on her meds everyday but she has gotten so much happier!! She is now able to sit up (tripod) by herself and she loves talking to us. It is so fun to have a little girl, and play dress up!

We have been so busy the past month, but it has been a good busy! We are enjoying new friendships and old ones. Planned times and the kind that show up unannounced. I have been working hard in the mornings with home schooling Isaac. I have to say I was really dreading it, I did not think that it would be something that I would enjoy. I LOVE it though, I feel so BLESSED to be able to have the extra time with him everyday and to be able to teach him and learn from him. It also helps that the curriculum that I use has everything planned for me so all I have to do is teach him (instead of spending hours in prep).

We set up our Christmas tree and have had a lot of fun making snowflakes, Christmas loop chains and cookie tree decorations (as pictured above).
